Privacy
This is a plain-English summary of how BusyBodies works today. It is not a published legal document and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The formal version has not been published yet.
What BusyBodies stores
Your account: the email address you sign in with, and the name you gave us. Your coaching data: the habits you track and complete, your workouts and the sets you log, your weekly check-ins and reflections, your nutrition entries, and the programs a coach builds for you.
Who can see it
You can see your own data. A coach can see the data of the clients they are linked to, and no one else’s. This is enforced by the database itself rather than by the app — every table carries rules that decide, per row, who is allowed to read it.
BusyBodies does not sell your data, does not use it for advertising, and does not run third-party analytics or tracking in this application.
Email we send you
Account emails only: a link to confirm your address when you sign up, a link to reset your password when you ask for one, and a coach’s invitation if one invited you. There are no marketing emails, and no push notifications — BusyBodies has no notification delivery of any kind. What the app calls notifications appear inside the app and go nowhere else.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from your account page. Deleting it removes your account and the data attached to it permanently — check-ins, workouts, habits, reflections, nutrition entries and progress. It cannot be undone, and there is no recovery afterwards.
Content a coach created — their exercise library, habit templates, lessons and program templates — belongs to them and stays with them.
What is still to come
A reviewed privacy policy covering retention periods, legal basis and your formal rights is required before BusyBodies is sold, and is not published yet. Until it is, this page is the honest description of what the product does. Get in touch with any question it does not answer.
